What does everyone think of this as a mechanic? Does it work? Is it even worth using as a mechanic?

What if you got rid of the “land” type and made it a whole new card type? Also, can you redirect damage to it as if it were a planeswalker? It would be cool to give it the planeswalker loyalty box, although that would be difficult to get into the system - or not, I’m no designer.

Work with this and I’m sure you’ll come up with something brilliant.

Legion in easier-to-read form.

Boosted the cost of the example because I figured you should assume 2 tokens as a baseline for costing a Legion creature (thereby making this a 4/3 first strike, in effect)

May I steal this and do stuff with it? I think this has INCREDIBLE potential.

Is this powerful enough for constructed play?

No, I do not. Each artist is cited on the card. If you have questions about a specific piece of art, I can link you to the original.

OP cards? OP cards.

Also, sorry about that last bit getting cut off.

IMPACT - a highly pushed finisher. I think it’s still good, though.

This is the last of the cards I designed for magicarasa's Western set. It's a top-down design meant to represent cheat-shuffling.

I’m pretty happy with this design. It’s flavourful and while it’s rather tricky to use I think it’s potentially powerful (especially with something like Unexpected Results). But I’m not totally sure about the wording. Should that first ability be “when you cast”?

I really like this, it’s a neat card. I think it’s fine as when it enters the battlefield, but that would mean that right when it enters, you would put an exiled card on the top of it, depends on if you want the player to immediately get the effect or have to find another way to shuffle it first.

OK, but this is REALLY cool.

Imagine severely limiting this mechanic to a handful of scattered cards across all colors. How OP is it still?
